Blue cloth face mask
Date published:
Cloth face masks can help protect yourself and others from COVID-19, but just how effective are they at containing an explosive human sneeze? Now, researchers reporting in ACS Biomaterials Science & Engineering have used high-speed videos of a person sneezing to identify the optimal cloth face mask design. ACS’ Headline Science shows how the sneeze cam helped reveal the best fabric combos. “Experimental Evidence for the Optimal Design of a High-Performing Cloth Mask” – Shovon Bhattacharjee and Raina MacIntyre, Ph.D. (corresponding authors) https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acsb...
